Salih Foundation was founded in early 2016 and was registered under the Societies Registration ACT XXI of 1860. The foundation is a successor of Salih Welfare Society, serving in the social sector for many years. It is working in Pakistan as an independent, non-governmental, non-profit and charitable organization and has no affiliation with any regional, ethnic or political organization of Pakistan or anywhere in the world.
Salih Foundation is providing social, educational and health services to the poor community of Pakistan. Salih Foundation completely relies on donations and charitable projects given by philanthropists and donor NGOs. Salih Foundation specializes in charitable work and considers it a key tributary to individual and community development, and seeks to meet the basic needs of the poor and deprived community of Pakistan.
It adopts projects of development, relief and social solidarity and these projects prove to be peri- odic subsistence and support to the poor and needy. Salih Foundation also raises the cultural and educational level of the poor families in order to achieve sustainable development with the support and as- sistance of the individuals and community organizations.
